Having said that, your iPhone's speakers could be damaged, but none of us know. Have you checked the volume button, the mute switch and whether or not your device is connected to a Bluetooth headset or something? Finally, feel free to make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them diagnose the problem for you.
