    i Pad screen is black. It says "Enter Passcode"
    below which it says "iPad requires your passcode after restarting"

    The problem began after I updated per aol instructions.
    I DO NOT have a passcode. I never had a passcode. I CANNOT use MY iPad. I have spent 3 hours already today trying to resolve this--one of which was with APPLE!

    If you have an older iOS device, Apple released a version of iOS 9.3 for it. Connect your iPad to your computer and update it via iTunes. Still, don't be surprised if you end up having to restore it just to fix the problem.
