iPhone 6s Gray Picture Box

My Aunts iPhone 6s has some gray picture boxes and I want to know why can anyone help me out?

I'm not sure what you're taking about. What do they look like? Are they always there or just in a certain app? Have you tried resetting your aunt's 6s?

There's something not right there. Some corruption somewhere. Have her remove all photos from the phone to somewhere safe on computer or in a cloud app like Dropbox.
Remove all 3rd party photo apps.
Then do a hard reset.
Hold the top or side power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.

Then add photos back one at a time. Add the photo apps back one at a time. Take photos and check them. If you see any more gray pictures, take it to Apple.

Thanks for your help guys. She was only here for the weekend and I was able to try to reset her phone but that didn't work. So hopefully she can figure it out.
