I want to get rid of iCloud for sure for my photos. I need to access my photos while traveling to use the photos in different places without bringing devices and no longer want to store photos on iCloud.

You would plug in the Flash Drive into the Mac. Open the Photos App, create a folder on your desktop. Select all the Photos and drag and drop them into that folder then put that folder onto your flash drive. For music, you would create another folder on your desktop, make sure all the songs you want are downloaded to the computer first, select them all and drag and drop those to the second folder. Then put that folder onto your Flash Drive.
