How do I see what's contained in my iCloud backups?

I am getting ready to upgrade to the iPhone6 Plus and currently have an iPhone4G. I did a backup on my phone yesterday to the Cloud but want to be able to check and see what files have been saved; e.g., photos, contacts, text messages, etc. Where do I go to see this information? Or, how can I tell if these files have been backed up? Thanks

Welcome to iMore! If you want to see beyond what information Just_Me_D supplied you, then you will need a backup extractor app. Most of those apps will cost you something.
