What is a out box?

I can not send emails it going into the out box

Emails sit in the outbox until the signal is strong enough to send it

Welcome to iMore! It's like a holding compartment. Sometimes attachments are too large and the email gets stuck there. Do you have Outlook?
First try a hard reset:
Hold the top or side power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.

If that doesn't work, try this:
1) Put the iPhone in Airplane mode
2) Open the Mail app
3) Go to the Outbox
4) Click Edit, click the circle next to the stuck message to select it
5) Click Delete
6) Take the iPhone out of Airplane mode
7) Return to the Mail app.
