I have read that it is not good to use a Microsoft program with an Apple product, and would like to know which word processing program would work best with the MacBook Air?

I've used them all at some point and find similarities between them. Having said that, I use Apple's Pages app. On occasion, I'll switch up and use Microsoft Word. Do I think one is better than the other? No. I'm just happy to be able to use more than one.
