I'd like to have a password protected area on my phone to store personal information. How can I do that?

First off set up a strong passcode on your device instead of the 6 digit numeral code

Second you can download an array of apps to safe guard your info

    Example

    Private Info by Mr Burns

Welcome to iMore. You could use an app such as 1Password. Excellent app for your request.

To add to what the previous posters have said, when iOS 9.3 hits we'll have the ability to password protect Notes.
