Regarding using my location on my iPhone , if imessenger is off by the person trying to locate you will it show as "location not available"? The person that had imessenger off could not locate my location

I do t use the app and therefore, I do not know. Having said that, try the developer's support site while awaiting a response from someone who may know the answer to your inquiries.
