Why I am having problems deleting my emails on my iPad Air?

I don't know why you're having problem deleting email from your inbox. It's possible that your device is not syncing with the email server. Anyway, login to your email account via a computer or a web browser on your iPad, and then go through the account's settings to see if there's an option that'll allows deleting email from a device to translate to the server.
