My iTunes songs stop and restart while playing

I have new iPhone 6S.
When they stop the (stop) (start) buttons change w/o any input from me.

Txfrd iTunes songs to my phone. When I play iTunes almost all songs stop and restart on their own by themselves. Control buttons are all responsive to my actions.

Don't know for sure if this music is coming from the Cloud or my iTunes. They are my same songs that I have on my computer. It is a distraction

Welcome to iMore! Does it happen when you're connected to wifi? I'm wondering if you are streaming your music over data and it keeps stopping to buffer. Prior to switching to Verizon I was constantly having an issue with buffering due to a poor signal.
