Hello! My name is Mitko. I'm new to this forum. Lately i have been encountering a very weird issue with my iPhone 6s Plus. Basically, it's been dying with some battery life left in it. I'd like to point out that every time it's died snapchat has run in the background and i've been outside in the cold (-3 degrees to 6 degrees). What do you think is it definitely a hardware issue or could it be a software issue? Has anyone experienced anything like this? Thanks in advance!
Welcome to iMore! It's most likely the % indicator. It gets out of whack at times. Just calibrate by letting the phone run all the way down until it goes off. Then charge it up to 100 %. It's not the battery, unless it's getting old.
Mine did this yesterday, I believe it's because it's so damn cold. Try charging your phone to 100% & keep a close eye on it. If it dies with the weather not being a factor, take it to your local store. Btw welcome to imore.
