    I have a travel itinerary saved in "My Documents" on my home computer (Windows 7) that I want to store in iCloud Drive in my iPad Air

    Lots of ways to do it.

    Log in to iCloud.com on your computer, click 'iCloud Drive', click Upload, navigate to "My Documents" and select the file.
    OR
    If you have iCloud installed on your computer, the your iCloud Drive should show up under the folders on your 'My Computer', find that and drag and drop the file there.
    OR
    Email it to yourself (from your computer to your iPad) and then save it to your iCloud Drive.
