When I went to open a new browser page my iPhone displayed Maxiphone with a cloud symbol! Well Max is my friend and he created my iCloud account on his iPhone as I purchased a used iPhone and I was not eligible for iCloud account. Please help in this regard and also let me know if my iCloud account is safe.

You can go here and manage your account. If you have issues, you may need to call Apple Support.

He appeared to have signed in to his iCloud account on your iPhone or he created an alternate iCloud account that is associated with his. Why didn't you create your own iCloud account on your own iPhone? The steps are quite simple.

If you go to Settings -> iCloud what info is there?

I see those with devices I use with the same iCloud ID, usually my iPad or my desktop Mac.

What you see in my screenshot is my old iPhone 5. It is still on my iCloud account. So you are on the same iCloud account as your friend.
You need your friends iCloud ID. The email and password. That way you can delete his account and add yours.

That's what we are trying to determine. But more like what account is on your device, as well as the one referenced on your screen.

He could if you leave it logged in. Log out and it should be gone.

It's like he has HIS iCloud account on YOUR phone. You will need to sign out of that account with HIS iCloud ID. Then you can sign in with YOUR ID. You need his iCloud ID to do this.
