I cannot get network on my iPhone 6 through my laptop

It says see network advisor as nowhere to put password it is trying to find the phone as the blue keeps flickering I have managed to complete this on my iPad

If you laptop is a Mac, go to preference> network, and there delete the very network name of your phone from the list of networks. Then turn off wifi, turn it back again and search for your iPhone network then connect to it.
It happens on my devices very often too, and sometimes, rebooting both the iPhone and the Mac solve the issue. Not sure what causing that though.
