I am trying to logout of the Icloud on an old mobile so all of my data resets.

I am trying to log out of my icloud account on my old phone and it says my password is incorrect (it is not) there is no where to change or reset password and the only part I found to reset password it asks for the the original password (which it says its wrong) Why?

It's indicating that the password is wrong because it does not match the one registered in iCloud. You can use the iCloud password retrieval option via the iCloud website sign in page in an attempt to get the passcode.
