I must have deleted or shut off something in setting I'm Missing half my contacts on phone Contact part but not text how do I retrieve to phone contacts again it's a pain to have to got to text then info then call when I wanna call someone

If the contacts are associated with an email account, go to Settings → Mail, Contacts, Calendars → your email account and then disable the toggle next to "Contacts". After a moment, re-enable the toggle.
