Does the glass protector change the amount of force?

When I purchased my phone I purchased a Bodyguardz glass shield. It seems that I have to press harder to register the keystrokes. Is this normal? Before I had the glass protecter put on I could type faster and far more accuracy. Has anyone else had this problem?

I don't use a glass protector, but I haven't seen any complaints. Some are thicker than others. Unless it's a real thick one, it shouldn't change anything.
