I want to create an app and install it on my ipod only without needing to go through the itunes/app store process.

Is there a way that I can install an app that I have made on my ipod?

Welcome to iMore! I believe you'll either need to be a registered developer running Xcode on your device or you'll have to jailbreak. You won't be able to install non-AppStore apps using traditional methods.
