Best TV for mac/ios users?

I'm in the market for a new 4k tv.

I've heard that samsung TVs don't necessarily play nice with macs/Apple etc.

So I'm thinking of getting an LG TV.

Does anyone have any experience in this field/any advice on what brand of TV would be best for Apple users or what brand of TV you think is best in general?

I am using an LG 51" Plasma TV and have never had an issue with it or any of my Apple systems working with it. I have an ATV 4 hooked up to it without issue and before that the ATV 3. No problems with airplay from iPhone or iPad either. I also have a Sony Bravia that has had no issues with my Apple systems.

This is my own personal experience though and hopefully more members will answer your question to give you some additional ideas.

If you have an TV, whatever TV you buy should work quite well with your Apple products, in my opinion
