Opening attachments

I have the iPhone 6. Just recently, when I try to open an attachment or document, it goes to blank/black screen and in to left corner, says "open in..." And in right corner, "open in iBooks" but I am unable to click on them. How do I fix this??

Depending on the attachment type, you will need an app installed that can view it.
