itunes 12.3 and 12.3.1. Both are dog slow and they don't remember my ipod subscrpitions. Why

I updated, then deleted and reinstalled 12.3. It s dog slow, plus some of my podcasts subscriptions update, others act as it I'm not subscribing and when I click they never update to subscribed status. I'm using a macBook Pro (early 2011) and Mac OS 10.10.5, 16GB RAM, 1TB drive.

I don't know why. Have you considered doing a clean install of your OS version?
