Hi, everyone!
So, I have been tinkering with various languages lately, and I noticed that for those with Cyrillic alphabets (Russian, Ukrainian, etc.), some apps have excessive spacing between each letter. I'm not sure if this is only for iOS 9, but it is quite an eye sore to read.
Have you reported this to Apple?
Are these apps stock apps? Or are they 3rd party apps?

Pardon my late reply, but because I was using a mobile app, so didn't upload the screenshots.
Anyway, here they are. The native apps are fine. It's some (not all) 3rd party apps that have this problem.

The spacing between letters should not be that large.

For example, Weather Underground works fine, as well as most of the 3rd party apps. It seems to affect some apps that tends to use "unique" fonts (like embedded, maybe?)
I double checked this by deleting all the fonts that I have installed. It still persists, so at least I can rule out that it wasn't because of the Burmese font that I installed.

How does it look outside of apps? It looks fine in Weather Underground. That tells me it's specific to certain apps, and not iOS 9.1. Email the app developers and make sure they're aware of tge issue.
Hmm, maybe it's app specific, or maybe because of the fonts they used.
Outside of apps, it is fine. It also works like Weather Underground.
I have an update on both apps that I've showed here, i.e. Empires and Allies and Inside-Out. Both now have fonts that are working properly. I guess it just takes an app update to have it rectified.
