Is it wise to buy a used iPhone4 for $90 without a sim card today

I have the opportunity to purchase a used and in good shape iPhone 4 without it's sim card. My server will sell me a card that fits as my existing phone has a different card which is not interchangeable. I need to figure out if it is worth it to buy this used phone rather than wait until my contract expired ( a few months) and then renegotiate for an iPhone 6.

The iPhone 4 is five years old at this point. It cannot go beyond 7.1.2. I would wait and get a 6. It will have more updates and is newer hardware.

I agree with Laelipoo. Wait and get the iPhone 6. The iPhone 4 is too old.

I agree with the above posts as well. The 4 is really outdated now.

If someone was giving it to you to use that would be different but I wouldn't purchase a phone that old. Like the rest of the crew said it is way out dated .
