Whilst listening to pod I cannot find away to fast forward or rewind??

i also have the same problem. it is NOT because i don't know how to do it. in iOS 8 on my iPhone 5S, i was able to skip forward and back 15 seconds at a time. when i upgraded my phone to iOS 9 (and now 9.0.1), those two controls are missing from my podcast screen. Oddly enough, my wife got her iPhone 6S and her podcast screen HAS THE +15sec and -15sec controls. What could be wrong?

oddly enough, if you start the podcast, lock the phone, and then open the lock screen, the +15sec and -15sec controls are visible on the lock screen. Go figure.
