    find my iphone says the ipod touch is online but no location available
    The location services are on, the ipod location is shared will all the family members in the icloud group. find my iPhone is turned on. I have restarted the ipod touch and refreshed the icloud screen and still nothing. I also sent a 'play sound' to the ipod touch and it worked. How can I get the location to be found?

    The iPod would need to be on a wifi hotspot with a known IP address that's associated with map coordinates or an address... or, it would need its location provided to it via an external GPS data source.
