Why do apps close right after opening?

After downloading iOS9.1, app ASTVmanager closes by itself. It did not do this before the update.

It's very possible that the app needs to be updated. With each update of iOS comes internal changes to how processes are called internally, new methods are implemented, etc. Sometimes, those internal changes alter the way apps work (or don't work), and the only fix is for the developer to update the app. BTW, that's REALLY the purpose of the iOS developer beta releases.
