iPhone 5c suddenly refuses to open Facebook and messenger apps....?

Is this because iPhone has stopped supporting Facebook ? I've seen the problems other people have had, but I haven't had any problems until now.

Any suggestions?

I have some questions to get into more detail with your issue.

1) Have you tried deleting and re-installing the Apps?
2) What iOS are you running?
3) If you're running iOS 9, did you restore from a backup or set it up as a new phone?
4) Does the app just crash/close when you try and open it?
