I'm sad I got a word from the  Care that "you have to update to 8.4.1 first, then only you will be able to update to iOS9, if you are in 7 presently". Is this correct? Now I'm using iOS 7.0.5. And should I update to 8.4.1 for being able to update to iOS 9? This is cruel

I believe if one connects to their computer and iTunes and selects the 'restore' option, they'll get the new iOS after it's released no matter what iOS version they're running...
