I lost my iphone some time ago and my insurance charged me 100$ to get a new one. A couple months later it was recovered. so i sold it to a friend of mine. when he went to switch his number over to that phone they said that it had a dirty ime number. So i want to know what should i do? and if i call the insurance company, will they talk the new phone bacK

Give your friend their money back and send the phone to the insurance provider. It's their phone because they provided you a replacement for your lost/recovered device.
