I have an iPhone 6. I have not updated to iOS 8.4.1 because I do not use the Music app, and it appears to just be Music app upgrades. When iOS 9 is released will I be able to go straight to iOS 9 without upgrading to the 8.4.1?
Nothing really. I just haven't been anxious to upgrade to the latest version because it was just for Music and I rarely use it. I guess your point makes sense!

8.4.1 is more than just the music app... there's nothing to fear about it if you don't use the music app...

I didn't subscribe to Music and 8.4.1 is fine. There were improvements. Always is. Sometimes security patches we don't know about. You can turn Music off as well as Apple Music Connect.

Yes. I've never installed iOS 8.4 or 8.4.1 on my iPhone 6 Plus and I've been running the iOS 9 Dev betas since June.
