How do I add another iCloud email account to my imac or iPad?

I don't want to create another ID, just add another email account, should be easy but I'm flummoxed?

Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

In the ACCOUNTS section, choose Add Account and add it as a new iCloud account.

You will be limited to the types of things that it can use - all iCloud accounts can be used (in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars) for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders and Notes. All of the other options (including iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud Drive, Photos, Safari, Backup, Keychain and Find My iDevice) are limited to the first iCloud account in the accounts list.

Go to iCloud on a computer/web browser... go to email preferences there... add an alias... you can add up to 3...
