I find advice here and elsewhere that explains how to delete photos from "devices." I find no advice on how to delete photos from my iCloud library. I have nothing to hide, but I'd like to free up storage and remove clutter. I do that in my garage as well.

Log on to iCloud.com via a computer and web browser...go to Photos...should be evident from there what to do...

Thanks. Everywhere I can find options to delete photos from devices. My goal is NOT to "use" the iCloud to delete photos from devices. Indeed, I'd like to use any device I have, perhaps this iMac, to delete photos from the iCloud itself. Then, they would not contaminate the atmosphere, my mind, or my devices. Is this an impossible goal? Again, I thank you!

Perhaps you might consider doing some reading here: iCloud - Photos - Apple Support

I guess they can be deleted from the app and devices but not from the cloud.
