I purchased apps at the App Store using my Apple ID (oldid). Then Apple changed the rules and required that I change my Apple ID to my email (edited) I made the change in settings but when I try to update an app it always asks for the password for "oldid". The end result is that I cannot update my apps because I can't access "oldid" and the App Store will not let me update the apps under my [edited]. Does anybody have a solution?

I believe your going to have to get your account corrected, if you want to keep your purchases and other data.
