Before we can provide you with more meaningful support, can you let us know exactly which device you have and exactly which Google App you are referring to please?
Also, anything else that would be useful for us to help you, like what are you doing at the point it becomes unresponsive.
Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app or power cycling your device (hold the home button and power button down until the Apple logo appears, then letting go)?
