ipad air 2 will not sync with computer

When connecting the ipad air 2 with itunes on my computer, continuing beeps occur and the two will not sync. An error message appears on the computer.

Make sure you are updated to the latest version of iTunes. Reboot both devices and try again. Can you tell us what the error message says by chance?
