I always recharge my iPhone 5s battery with the Apple data cable and charging cube, plugged into an electrical outlet. But I want to know if a Radio Shack "portable power bank" that uses a rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery and an included charging cable that's USB to micro USB can be used to recharge my iPhone 5s? The specs are: 5VDC, IA. Cell capacity - 3500mAh. Or if it's too strong for my iPhone 5s, could this portable power bank be used to recharge my iPad Air 2 or my Macbook Pro? I do not want to damage any of my Apple devices and shall not use this to recharge any of them until I know it's okay.

It's possible, but if it were me, I'd continue using the charging cable and cube that came with the iPhone. It has yet to fail me.

To me those packs are strictly emergency. Like when the derecho came through a couple of years ago and power was out for two days.
