    Evening All
has anybody noticed that Spotify sounds much better than Apple Music ? I thought that Apple Music sounded a bit flat and dull through my headphones so tried it through a pair of old Sony computer speakers, it still sounded flat and dull, so found the same album on Spotify and it sounded to me at least fifty per cent better to me. A lot of articles I read said that Apples AAC output is equivalent to whatever Spotify does, I can assure their authors that it ain't so ! Free Spotify and better sounds win hands down.

Wowsers. You sure it sounds flat? Or do you want it to sound flat?

Have you tried a blind test for your self??

Have someone doing it for you, to be fully honest of the result

I'm saying people say stuff without being biased against Apple Music.

Now I know this is not the case with you

I also think that Spotify has a setting that allows for higher quality listening. I haven't seen this setting on Apple music.

No Apple Music does NOT sound "flat" to me. I'm using BOSE with my 6 Plus on iOS8.4. It sounds really GREAT.....IMHO

There is a volume difference though. When I play it in my car I have to turn the volume way up when I didn't have to before.

I'm on iOS 9 beta 4, maybe that's the reason it worked for me.
    What if you enable it?

It checks for differences in volume between songs when playing songs.

It lowers or raises the volume to make them sound equal

Wow. I think that's cool. But it wouldn't solve my problem I believe. I will try it. I just thin that the app plays the music at a lower volume. No biggie. I just have to turn it up.

I did notice that if you turn the equalizer off that the sound gets a little louder. Maybe that was my problem?

Could be. I have both disabled anyway. I find that music sounds distorted if you enable the equalizer.

Ok, I finally downloaded Spotify last night and accepted the 7 day free trial of premium seevice. I like the way you can swipe left or right to go to the next song and how it's much easier to make playlists, however I think that AppleMusic provides a much better overall experience and looks much better on my 5.5 inch screen, the way the Album art and Artist art is set up is second to none....IMHO, AppleMusic is is better for ME and the way I like to look/listen to MUSIC.....just my .02 cents
