    My phone is out of space. I have move pictures off but I still have almost 2Gig of music on the phone. Seems like I should be able to move it to the icloud or itunes and still listen on the phone with out it taking up space on the phone.

    If you update to iOS 8.4 you can stream the songs you want to listen to via Apple Music.

    Enable iCloud music library on both iTunes on the desktop and your phone. Go then to Settings > Storage & iCloud Usage > Music and slide it left to delete all songs.

    Now they are physically deleted from your phone and you can stream them
