Why am I not getting into recovery mode on my iPhone although I follow the steps?

why am i not getting to recovery on my iphone although i follow the steps

am unable to put my iphone in recovery mood although i turn my iphone oof hold down the home button and plug in my usb cable into my computer when it comes on it stick to the itune logo.

If it is displaying the iTunes logo it is in recovery mode. Simply connect the device to your computer and initiate the computer's iTunes app. When iTunes recognizes the device, select "restore".
