    I was deleting some pictures to free up space to update my iphone 4. It is now frozen on the "Server error ICloud could not be activated because of a server error. Please try again." My top lock button is broken so i use the downloaded touch screen "button" to do things like lock the phone, etc. but the screen wont lock when I use that.

    The button is irrelevant in this matter. I can only assume that Apple is having server-related issues at the moment. Wait a while and then try again.
