I am from Egypt, i work at ivory coast , i had i phone 5 ,and i can use the face time to make calls with it, now i change my cell phone to i phone 6 plus , when i put the sim card of ivory coast ( MTN ) i lost the facetime in the general settings , i cant found it, when i change the sim card with the Egyptian sim card , the facetime works. Can anybody help me?????

yes , i usualy use it with my old iphone , and my friend also use the facetime

Some countries do not allow Facetime and/or iMessage. It could be your 2 phones were purchased in different countries, or at times when the laws were different. If your new phone does not support Facetime, there's not much you can do. Sell it and find a phone and carrier that supports Facetime.

Dear Ledstephin, i told you i can use the facetime whith another sim card, the facetime is allowed in cote d'ivoire , and it's available on my iphone 6.
i think theres something missing in the general settings or network settinds

The only thing I know is call your carrier. They would be the ones to help you. We don't have a "fix" for that. Good luck!

Check your phone model number, if it ends with AE/A, then FaceTime has been blocked.
I think your Egyptian SIM has an unlock built into it.
Some other GCC service providers do the same

You really should contact the support desk of your Ivorian carrier.. They are the only ones who can give you a satisfying answer. As none of us are in Ivory Coast, nor Egypt, we simply don't have the knowledge to help you.
