Why are some songs 'Matched' while others are Music AAC?

iMore Question

I uploaded many burned songs to iMatch to return as 256 kbps. These all came back as "Matched AAC". When I started with iMusic, I updated iMusic Library on a second PC and had two issues. Some songs - even from the same cd source - showed up on the 2nd computer iTunes account as "matched" and others as "Apple Music AAC". In other cases, the song on the 2nd computer was different - eg live instead of studio version. Of course, the artwork is a mess. Is there a way for me to keep my owned music DRM free on the second computer and why some songs and not others?

Excellent question, but one that I cannot answer. I've only started dabbling with Music since updating to iOS 9 beta 3 less than 24 hours ago. Hopefully, a member who can answer your question will respond soon. Take care...:)
