Why are certain games take time before being launched in IOS?

I have a list of mobile games which are available in Android but not in IOS. One of them is MINIDOM. Is the process of publishing a game in IOS different from Android? if so, why?

It's up to developers on when to submit and then Apple has to approve. If you don't see a game you want, contact the developer.
