Why is there no Apple Store icon on my iPad Mini?

i went on my ipad this morning to see I nedded to update clash of clans. I proceeded to look for the app icon and couldn't find it on my ipad

There should be an iTunes Store app icon on your iPad. It's purple. The Apple Store app you must download from the iTunes App Store. Here's the link:

Apple Store or App Store? If the former, it's possible that the app hasn't been installed. If the latter, it's possible that a restriction has been set to prevent the App Store from being displayed. Get with your parents, if you're a kid, and ask them to allow you access to the App Store.

To update clash of clans have to be the apps store icon. Look if it's not inside a folder, reboot your iPad, or check if restriction is activated that restrict installing apps.
