My iPhone got wet and don't know if it could/would get fix?

iphone got wet and dont know if it could would get fix

I left my phone out side and it start raining when I realize I went and got it . But I realize it got water inside so I start making sure it work and it did so I though it was fine if I kept using it. Now the screen stop working and it won't turn on . Is there any hope for my iphone to get fix?

I'm just going to be blunt --- If you have Apple Care +, use it. If not, make preparations to purchase a replacement phone.

Did you dry the phone before you turned it on the first time after it got wet? I mean thoroughly dry by placing in a warm place, or packed in a box of uncooked ric etc?

If not, go do that before turning it on again. If you keep trying to turn it on whilst the insides are still damp you could be doing irreparable damage to the phone (in fact you might have already but you never know).

When you phone gets wet one of two things happen:

1. It stops working immediately.
2. It stops working eventually.
