Almost all of my iPad photos have just disappeared, how do I get them back?

almost all of my ipad photos have just disappeared how do i get them back ?

I have barely been on my ipad all day and when I went on It to find a photo I noticed that I only have 50 pictures instead of about 200 I don't have icloud and I don't know how to get them back

First try a hard reset.
Hold the top power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.

If they don't return and there's no back up in iTunes or iCloud, there's not much you can do. How much mb of space do photos take? Look in Settings > Usage > Manage storage > scroll to photos. How many?
