Why have deleted photos returned ?

The iphone albums is a silly feature. How can I have confidence in taking photos if I can't be sure if the photo I deleted shows up months after I deleted it. Will never use the camera again. How can I fix it

Welcome to iMore! Can you explain more? What, exactly, happened? Did you delete photos in an album and they're still on the camera roll? If so, that's how it works. If you want to delete the photo completely, delete it in the camera roll.
Also make sure your time is set properly in settings.
Settings >General >date and time >toggle on set automatically.




If you're never going to use the camera again then why bother asking how to "fix it"? Anyway, there could be several reasons why deleted photos re-appeared. Restoring from a backup immediately comes to mind. Photos deleted from the camera roll but not from your photo stream is another one.
