    I want to change the digit at the end of a web address. This is ridiculously difficult to figure out? I've tried highlighting, dragging and sliding to no avail!

    In OS X Safari, it's hidden by default in the Smart Search Field (the unified URL/Search field). Go to Safari > Preferences. On the General tab, check the box next to "Show full website address".

    It would really be helpful to know what device you're attempting to do this on. I mean, if it's a iPhone or an iPad, can you not tap on the address bar to place the cursor in it and then drag the cursor to the end?

    Apologies, it is an iPod Touch running whatever the current iOS version is.

    Long press the address bar, a magnifier will appear then you can drag your finger to the end of the web address.
