    I thought this only worked for older battery tech? The disclaimer at the end that says battery life degrades over time might explain it.

    That said it seems harmless enough. I'd give witchcraft a try if I thought it could increase battery life.

    Make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them diagnose the problem for you. Your battery may be defective and need replacing.

    It won't increase the battery life, but it will properly calibrate the % remaining that you see in the OS.
